The Gold-White-Gold Uniforms Have Returned
The Colorado Buffaloes have hit the field in Lincoln, and it didn’t take them very long to their brand-new away jersey.
The Buffs will be wearing a gold helmet, white jersey, and gold pants. They even managed to sneak some black into the uniforms via the facemask and the jersey numbers. This is a new color combination we haven’t seen from the Buffs in the Deion Sanders era.
If the first two weeks are any indication of the rest of the season, it seems as though Colorado will be incorporating the Flatirons into every uniform combination in 2024. Last week, we saw Colorado at home wearing the outline of the Flatirons on both the sides of the pants and the shoulders. This week on the road, they have the Flatirons again on the shoulders, but not the pants.
Let’s hope that Deion is right with his classic quote. When you look good, you feel good, and when you feel good you play good because the Buffs are looking for a big win tonight against rival Nebraska in Lincoln.
