The Buffs are donning flagged helmets
It’s a week late for Veteran’s Day, but that hasn’t stopped the Colorado Buffaloes from honoring the troops with their latest batch of uniforms.
Colorado will take on the Utah Utes wearing a black-and-gray uniform combo featuring a patriotic Ralphie. Brian Howell posted a sneak peak during the pre-grame routine:

Despite stiff competition, these could be the worst uniforms of the Coach Prime era. There are millions of eyes on the Buffs every weekend, but instead of wearing the traditional black-and-gold, Nike has collaborated with Deion Sanders to release a new uniform combination every weekend.
We’ve seen the Buffs wear Atlanta Falcons-themed unis against Nebraska, gleaming gold both home and away, and enough gray and white combos to send the equipment manager to The Hague. And now they’re wearing the U.S. flag for some reason? (Which is against the country’s Guidelines for Display of the Flag.) I guess the silver lining is that it’s just a silver lining, rather than red, white and blue.
