The Buffs best back is out - uh oh
Well, thankfully I was in a fugue state last weekend, so I don’t know what happened last weekend. I assume the Colorado Buffaloes are 2-0 headed into the Rocky Mountain Showdown with the Colorado State Rams. Right? Right? Guys?
Well, I tried to forget, but it didn’t work. The Buffs got rolled on offense against the Huskers. Bamboozled. Led astray. Shedeur Sanders looked pedestrian. The offensive line like they were avoided pedestrians. One bright spot was Hayden, who ran hard and found holes in the second half. He looked primed to be the starter moving forward for the reason of the season.
Well, Dallan Hayden is out for the Colorado State game. Add him to the starters in the injury heap after a rough two weeks for the Buffs:
Colorado head coach Deion Sanders said RB Dallan Hayden is likely out this week vs. Colorado State. Safety Shilo Sanders is likely out 2-3 weeks. CB/WR Isaiah Hardge might be out as well. The Buffs are hopeful DL Chidozie Nwankwo will able to play vs. the Rams. #cubuffs

Hayden is the best runner the Buffs have, but with how little CU runs, do we really care that much?
We do. We, unfortunately, still do. What a week.
