Team Colorado is looking stacked
The Basketball Tournament and its $50 million prize pool are returning once again in 2024, which means Team Colorado is making a comeback. The squad, comprised of Colorado basketball alumni, banked a huge commitment on Thursday; former Buff and NBA veteran Andre Roberson.
HUGE PICKUP: Team Colorado has landed a commitment from NBA Veteran and former @CUBuffsMBB player, Andre Roberson! @TeamColoradoTBT IS NOT MESSING AROUND FOR TBT 2024!

Roberson will be joining the likes of Evan Battey, D’Shawn Schwartz, George King and Josh Repine on their quest for $50 million. Snagging a player like Roberson is a MASSIVE deal for this group. In his time in Boulder and seven years in the NBA, Roberson established himself as an elite rebounder and defender, earning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and first-team all-conference honors in 2013 with the Buffs. With Roberson in the Buffs’ corner, this team will be scary to play.
If you’re looking to relive some of those early 2010s CU basketball memories this summer, Team Colorado is your best bet. TBT begins on July 17th, so we’re just over a month away from watching some of our favorite Buffs take the floor in black and gold again. With a rotation involving Roberson, Battey and Schwartz, we’re in for a fun blast of nostalgia at the bare minimum. Who knows, maybe Team Colorado can manage to show out and win the massive prize pool in the process...
