The Buffs are seemingly about to flip a big-time USC commit
It’s only November, but Coach Prime and Colorado are officially in ‘crooting season. After over six months of back-and-forth teasing, four-star quarterback and USC commit Juju Lewis is seemingly about to flip to the Buffaloes.
Late Monday night, On3’s Steve Wiltfong and Chad Simmons dropped the “Fong Bomb” that Colorado fans have anxiously awaited, posting their prediction that Lewis will land in Boulder to play for the Buffaloes.

Along with Wiltfong, 247’s Tom Loy and Colorado beat-writer Adam Munsterteiger have both logged crystal ball predictions that Lewis will flip his commitment from the Trojans.
Currently ranked as the 31st-best prospect and fifth-best quarterback in the class of 2025, Lewis’ choice to come to play in Boulder would be monumental to Colorado’s football program. Shedeur Sanders’ successor would be officially lined up and Lewis would more than likely start immediately as a true freshman.
Lewis has been committed to Lincoln Riley’s Trojans since August but has been loudly flirting with Colorado and Indiana since. After USC’s season began to go sidewise under Riley and Colorado started ripping off wins, Lewis seems like he’s found his home in Boulder.
These predictions aren’t always 100% accurate, but from the looks of it, this one seems like it’s probably a done deal. Lewis coming to Boulder would be the first domino to fall in building the future of football at CU, so keep your eyes out for more crystal ball predictions and commitments in the coming weeks.
