Who’s sitting out for the Buffaloes in Lincoln?

The Colorado Buffaloes have arrived at Memorial Stadium to take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in about an hour. Headed into this rivalry matchup with the dreaded Huskers, the Buffs are essentially at full health and ready to go.

Same as last week against NDSU, every single starter on Colorado’s depth chart is expected to play tonight against Nebraska. The Huskers are about to face off against the full brunt of CU’s star power in Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter, and Jimmy Horn.

The only player that is questionable is starting strong safety Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, who suffered an injury in the first quarter against the Bison in week one. Silmon-Craig was a full participant in practice for the second half of this week, so it seems likely he will play in Lincoln tonight. If he can’t, expect Carter Stoutmire and Travis Jay to fill in for him.

We’re lucky to have a fully healthy team headed into this game, which means so much to the Colorado fandom. This is the last matchup that the Buffs and Huskers have on the books as of 2024, so they need to make it count.

Go Buffs! Let’s beat Nebraska!
