After suffering an injury in the back half of the season, Horn was sidelined for CU’s final four regular season games, leaving a lot of uncertainty about his draft stock. An invitation to the combine didn’t always seem like a sure thing for Horn, but his Shrine Bowl performance earned him the opportunity to prove himself in front of NFL scouts in Indianapolis.

Before his injury, Horn was a major weapon for the Buffs. His season started off with a bang, racking up 198 yards and a touchdown in the opener against NDSU, including a 69-yard highlight-reel score. Even with his season cut short, he still managed 37 catches for 441 yards and made an impact on special teams. The speed, route-running and playmaking ability that made him a top transfer target when he came to Colorado will now be on full display at the combine.

The NFL Scouting Combine will begin on February 27th in Indianapolis, giving Horn a prime chance to show he’s fully recovered and ready to make an impact at the next level. With the 2025 NFL Draft set for late April, this is his best opportunity to boost his stock and remind teams why he was one of the most electric playmakers in college football. If he can flash that speed and explosiveness in Indianapolis, don’t be surprised if his name starts rising on draft boards.
