Three more of CU’s games are confirmed for Prime Time TV slots.
Even with the departures of superstars Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders, the major television networks can’t resist putting the Colorado Buffaloes on the national stage.
Kickoff times and TV information for three of CU’s early-season matchups were announced via press release from the Big 12 Conference on Thursday morning, all of which will be broadcast nationally.
- Sept. 6: vs. Delaware, 1:30 pm MT (Fox)
- Sept. 12: @ Houston, 5:30 pm MT (ESPN)
- Sept. 27: vs. BYU, 8:15 pm MT (ESPN)
As expected, ESPN has jumped on its opportunity to snag Colorado’s conference games due to its media rights deal with the Big 12, while Fox swooped in to snag CU’s week two non-conference matchup with the Delaware Blue Hens.
The 1:30 pm game against Delaware is especially welcome within the Colorado fanbase, as most of CU’s home games last season kicked off at 10:00 am or 8:00 pm. Although the BYU game will be a late night for those at Folsom Field, at least one of Colorado’s games won’t involve fans having to wake up early or stay up late to cheer on their team.
We are officially less than 100 days away from the start of football season, which means more news like this will be coming down the pipeline quickly this summer. Make sure you’re keeping up with Ralphie Report to stay up to date with your Colorado Buffaloes news.
