The athletic end from Texas makes it official
It’s another beautiful Boulder morning in December, Coach Prime’s 2nd, and this one has even more quality and even less quantity. High school recruiting is not this staff’s focus, but incredibly talented players will still get their chance to play for Prime in Boulder. This particular player is Eric Brantley.
Brantley is a well-built defensive end from Valdosta, Georga. At 6’2, 250 pounds, he does not need much molding in the college weight room and his relentless motor will make him a favorite for any coach. Brantley is one of a few recruits that Deion Sanders and team pulled from Georgia, an increasingly-talented state that will remain important to CU in the future. Valdosta is generally regarded as a polished program as well, so Brantley will not need to start from scratch. He signed with the Buffs over programs like Pitt and Ole Miss.
His tape shows good speed off the edge and a relentless motor. He also surprisingly good strength for a high school edge and frequently plays inside when needed for his school.
Georgia made. Boulder bound.
