Basketball recruiting updates and news from Fall Camp

On the latest episode the At the Buzzer podcast, Jack and Sam discuss Colorado Buffaloes basketball recruiting, stories from fall football camp and updates on conference-related TV deals.

The basketball content kicks off with Tad Boyle’s recruitment of 5-star Cody Williams, the 6’8, do-it-all little wing whose brother is NBA lottery pick Jalen Williams. Not that we would complain about any 5-star coming to CU — he would be the highest rated recruit since Chauncey Billups — but Cody would be a perfect fit on this team. This recruiting update turns into an impromptu roster breakdown because we can’t stop talking about CU basketball.

Moving on to football, there have been positive developments from Fall Camp. The most notable one is the QB battle between Brendon Lewis and JT Shrout, in which both players are performing well under the pressure of the competition. Elsewhere, the defensive front seven is looking good, the young defensive backs are coming along and a certain sophomore receiver is vying for a lead role.

Next week, we will do a season preview with a deep dive into the depth chart and a schedule breakdown with predictions.
