Colorado’s quarterback has proved he’s a true leader

Shedeur Sanders pulled a classy move after Colorado's dominant win over Colorado State in Fort Collins, honoring his offensive line by bringing them with him into his postgame presser.

With Shedeur, from left to right, are Phillip Houston, Kahlil Benson, Hank Zilinskas, Tyler Brown, Justin Mayers, and Jordan Seaton. Colorado allowed no sacks against the Rams on Saturday, allowing Shedeur to pass for 310 yards and four touchdowns.

The Buffaloes gave up six sacks last weekend in Lincoln against Nebraska, but they got back on track at Canvas Stadium. Shedeur caught flack for his words after that loss, but took the opportunity to set the record straight in Fort Collins.

“That’s when all the family and all the real friendships really come together,” said Sanders after CU’s win over Colorado State. “Whenever everyone wants to push each other against each other, flip words, and do everything like that. Together, we all stayed as a family and we were all as one.”
