Georgia continues to be good to the Buffs
Amidst this late-season slide by the Colorado Buffaloes, recruiting also slowed. The top prep offensive lineman, Talan Chandler, decommitted and flipped to Missouri. All three 2025 prospects decommited. The 2024 class lost their quarterback, Danny O’Neil. The sky is falling.
But also, the sky is rising and is giving way to extremely talented recruits. Kam Mikell, a top 100 recruit and the cousin of CU commit Amontrae Bradford, jumped on board to be Buff.
Mikell plays for Statesboro High School in Georgia, where Nick Williams hails from. Georgia has been good for the Buffs under Deion Sanders and Coach Prime and that continues for the 2024 class. Mikell plays both ways for his high school but he’ll play wide receiver for the most part for the Buffs.
The first play on his tape is all you need to see. His speed is next-level and his size is not bad either. Mikell has the athleticism to play IMMEDIATELY, wherever he chooses, and he will be welcome in Boulder next year.
