Rammies not looking good in scrimmage

Gave up somewhere between 27 and 32 sacks. Remember, their DL was supposedly the weakness and they had to invite big students to walk on to add depth.

FORT COLLINS — I’ve covered college football for 15 years and Colorado State’s scrimmage Friday was the worst I’ve ever seen a college football team look in a scrimmage.

Read on...

Sorry, I saw the picture of Henderson and wanted to punch his fat, smug head.

What did the article say?

They have some decent edge rushers, but their interior line is not very good. Their offense is basically Nwoke and that is it.

I dont believe, scrimmage or otherwise, at any level of football have I heard of that many sacks. I dont know how you can describe it really, its beyond pathetic. Think if they went up against a real good dline, theirs is ok not great. We better roll these guys up, none of this 28-14 ****.

I could actually see another 28-14 type game unless the offense starts more quickly than I expect. Needs to be a win either way.

I heard that CSU has a hell of a D-line.

Besides, I've learned to manage my expectations for the CU/CSU game.

Ready for some ROLF stuff. Copied directly from sheepnation (my highlights)

Subject: It's good that RN is not panicking over 30 sacks

Message: in the 1st ever scrimmage, during Spring ball, w/ new Coaches, new
schemes, 2 Starting OL recovering from serious injuries... and knowing
that the D is always much ahead of the O at this point
(cause D is a
much less complex operation).

I would add that we know that RAMs have some serious pass-rush
talent that could reak some havoc even on Bama's OL in a "1st Spring
Scrimmage".

What is encouraging is the Run capability shown by this unsettled OL
w/ Nwoke behind them.
Something's clicking there (perhaps
memory/timing from the later part of '11 season when Nwoke broke
loose) and it bodes well for this O & OL.

THis also could show a bit of weakness in our Run D, which we could
expect w/ a rookie NT starting.

COngratualtions RN for being reasonable & tollerant. I think Jmac is
helping us all to "relax" a little & have some fun.

Lots more good stuff ahead. Can't wait to get Gag, Baird, Crockett &
Austin back in full form.

So the sheep D-line would wreak havoc on Alabama's OL:rofl: I could go on but right now I am laughing to hard to maintain any concentration.

A team with a 3-9 record the last 3 years in a row and they are talking about wreaking havoc against Bama (or anyone else's) OL because their own bunch of FCS linemen gave up 30 sacks in a scrimmage to that DL.

Maybe the poster should be named ramdumb :wow:

I don't visit there much anymore, but I do remember ramdom (ramdumb is appropriate) is a complete and utter ass.

You guys are right, alot of unproven areas on our end as well. I should have said we need to roll these ****ers up lol. Yep on the managing expectations as well, im stubborn so it takes me longer. Id just like to see us give them an utter beatdown.

Their DE's might be good (mostly Capi), but their DT's are comparable to what we have behind Pericak. BAD

Capi is freaky fast, and he's got great hands for shedding blocks, but he struggles against linemen with size.

John Henderson can eat a bag of dicks. What an asshole. Is that comment about "The worst I've ever seen" really necessary? Even if true, it's inappropriate.

We're really discussing CSU? Wish nothing but the best for them, but we're trying to get back on our feet. Associate yourself with greatness.

Why the **** would you wish the best for those ****s?

By disliking them you validate their existence. They're nothing, haven't ever been anything, and will never be anything. Hope they do well in the MWC.

They're our "rival" and you never wish anything good on your rival. **** them.

You've obviously never been to the game in Denver in your Colorado gear. In theory, you have a logical argument. In the real world, the sheep can eat a dick.

Rival?! Man, the younger CU fans really are screwed in the head.
Notice the "" around "rival". Who else is our rival? We don't play NU anymore. We all will forever hate NU, but it's tough to consider someone our rival when we rarely play anymore. The CSU fans, all 13 of them, have made it somewhat of a rivalry.

I noticed at the end of the article it said they are having their next scrimmage in glendale at the rugby stadium. Do they always do this, or is this something new?
