UCB with?

Was talking to him over the weekend, he says everyone has told him
what pussies the puffs are and is confident he will shred them. I
tried to get a number out of him, but he would only say he is going to
have a very big day and we will be celebrating midfield at Invesco
after the beat down.

I can't get fired up about that because he's likely right.

Talk is cheap. They whipped us on our home field last year, so they can talk. Colorado just has to make them eat their words on the field.

It is funny how the best Rams fan site looks a lot like the Buffs worst fan site.

i fear to think what lesser ram sites are like. pong style graphics? i have a troll over at rn. wonder if i can think of the password....it's been a few years since i went over there.

I hope we blitz the **** outta him, not because he might be running his mouth. I just think thats the best way to go at a young qb. Him getting the taste knocked out his mouth a few times will bring him down a peg or two.

So, Ramnation is talking **** about CU and jerking themselves off to another untested QB. Must be Tuesday....

Who is Pistol Pete? The Okie St. mascot will be the goat QB?

i'll sort of miss Pistol Pete. at some point in Stillwater, a long time ago:

A: How's about we have a mascot that looks like an alcoholic streetperson?
B: Cool beans, and then we'll put him in orange cowboy clothes....!!
A: and his head will be GIGANTIC!!!
B: Hell yeah, it'll be just like the drunk who plays Santa....but, weirder and harder to explain! yahoo!

I'm assuming that someone has forwarded this to members of the team.

Don't forget about Willie the Wildcat with his power towel and oversized head.

The guy that posted that is a troll. That guy has never posted a thing on the CSU board before today. Considering Thomas was just named the starter today, I have a hard time believing that guy was talking to Thomas over the weekend about "shredding" the Buffs when he wouldn't have known whether he was even the starter.

Well, if it makes you feel better, we weren't really desperate for bulletin board material. You know, the mid-field theatrics and the quote about our O-line being pussies last year should do the trick. Really if our guys can't get up for this game, there's a far larger problem.

Nice damage control.

There should be a ton of motivation on each side. I have no problem with bulletin board material, as long as its true material. Whoever posted this crap on the CSU board is a disgrace. Make up a conversation you supposedly had with an 18 year old kid and then post it on the web in what has to be one of the biggest days in the kid's life. Seriously digusting.

This.

It's a standard tactic employed by a lot of teams. OU would do this all the time. They'd take a penalty on the first series by absolutely blowing up the other team's QB. The QB wouldn't be worth squat after that. Ir only works against young QBs, though. Try that stuff against a Jr or Sr and not only will you give up the 15 yards in the penalty, but you'll just make the guy mad.

It would be how I would approach the game. Send Sipili on a blitz and just freaking bury the kid. Don't worry about it being a late hit, just hit him - HARD.

I sure hope it works. I'm a fan of the tactic especially after last year. Especially if it means the team get a little angry and keeps the streak going.

here is another gem:

here is why cu will lose

1. Our Defense is not great, but our LB's are. In fact I put our LB's in
the nations top 15. CU will not be able to run, and we will blitz and get
to Hansen....limiting our inexperienced DB's

2. We had a below average rushing attack...largely due to the lack of
talent in our RB's. Our RB's are arguablity the second most talented
unit...see Greenwood being moved to WR....

3. We will not play to lose, but not take crazy risks. SF is a much
better game day coach than Hawkins, who is genetically predisposed
to not making half time adjustments.

4. Hansen? Hansen? That kid could not make our 4th team depth
chart. This guy is the winer by default. CU has not recruited a QB, due
in large part to the coach and his son. Hansen when compared to
Cody is great. He is an average QB, and will make mistakes.

5. CU's WR's were in shambles a few months ago...see arrests and
transfers...now they are all world. Whether they are or not remains to
be seen, but either way they are new to the system, will run wrong
routes, and the ball will go right into our DB's hands.

6. We have more team speed than CU.

7. Their D is average, and even with a freshman QB don't see them
really confusing our O very much.

8. Like our intangibles...CU is one loss from the remaining
bandwagoners jumping off. This sunshine pumping is a 14-0 first
quarter score from leaving this phony Hawk behind for good.

9. CU did not get better from last year...they got worse...CSU got
better, faster, and more talented from last year.

#9 Is just dumb...but whatever.

And funny they should mention bandwagoners jumping off. they are only 18 days away from being strictly Bronco fans whether they win or lose against CU.

I'm trying to figure out why Rammie fans think Fairchild is such a great coach. He's coming off 9 straight losses from a team that was filled with senior starters, including the most experienced OL in the country. By the end of the year, it had gotten so bad that they lost to that Wyoming team we handled so easily.
