Ranking of hardest-to-easiest games on the schedule

Big Jim

WTF?
1) @ ORE - Most talented team on the schedule and it's a road game only six days after the Arizona game.

2) @ WSU - Back-to-back road games right on the heals of the game @UO.

****Below this line I see every game as winnable****

3) WASH - Well stocked with talent both on the field and on the sideline.

4) @ASU - Pray for that 8AM or 8PM time slot cuz it will be 100+ Fahrenheit in Tempe on Sept 21. I originally had this ranked #7 but the early season game in the desert makes it harder.

5) @ UTAH - The Buffs have beaten the Utes and played them tough many years when they should not have. If the team hasn't quite like they did last season by this point, it could be a Buff win.

6) USC - I'M CALLING THIS A BUFF WIN RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!!

7) NEB - Guarantee that Coach Tucker won't cry on national television after the game. If this was later in the season I would rank this game lower, game #2 for the new coaching staff makes this harder.

8) STAN - Not as deep on the field as UW, but a very similar team. Would be ranked higher but for the special circumstances described in the ASU and kNU games.

9) @UCLA - Road game and Kelly isn't an idiot otherwise this is below the must win line.

****Below this line I see games that are must win****

10) ARIZ - Stop Tate coach, stop Tate. The last staff couldn't figure that one out.

11) AFA - Coaches Tucker and Summers know how to coach defense against the option offense.

12) CSU - This is the biggest must-win game on the schedule. Coach Tuckers first game as HC, a loss here sets that tone for the year, ask Barney.

Hardest to easiest
1. @Oregon - Road game against the most obviously talented team on the schedule
2. Washington - Even though it's in Boulder, they're probably the second most talented team on the schedule, CU hasn't beat them since joining the Pac 12, and Eason could put them over the edge
3. @Utah - CU has played them better than most Pac 12 programs in most years, but on the road with Pac 12 CG implications on the line
4. @Washington State - Lack of depth/experience in the Secondary could prove to really hurt here, but they will have a new QB and two new Tackles, so I expect a better effort this season
5. USC - Until CU wins, it has to be considered a pretty tough game.
6. Nebraska - Should be improved in year two under Frost. Can we hold up in the trenches? That will decide the game.
7. @ASU - I'm not as high on ASU as some seem to be. Eno Benjamin and the heat are the main opponents.
8. Stanford - Not easy, but being at home will certainly help
9. @UCLA - Only reason it should be tougher than Arizona is because it's on the road
10. Arizona - Only reason it should be easier than UCLA is because it's at home
11. AFA - Obviously a different style than any of our guys have played against at the college level, but MT knows how to stop it and they are a mediocre WMC team anyways.
12. CSU - They suck and we will crush them

Agree with that one as the 11th most challenging game on the schedule, but pretty much everybody on the schedule after little brother is going to be tough.
