I support systemic racism
Not complaining at all, I LOVE Lindsay. Just curious what happened to Evans. Think he got 4-5 carries against UCLA and I don't remember seeing him against U of A (although I did fall asleep in the 4th quarter).

Also, I thought it was odd earlier in the year they gave Adkins 1-2 carries against someone and that was it for the year so far. Why do that? We could have redshirted him.

Adkins got a carry vs. Arizona, but that was it besides Lindsay and Sefo. We leave our starters out too long in general, but I don't think it's hurt us yet.

Lindsay has earned the coaches' trust and seems to be in good enough shape that he doesn't take himself out as much - or has been told to stop doing it unless he really needs it.

Basically, he's the ****ing man. The man plays.

Bisharat is getting more time in the backfield as well, mostly as a blocker and screen target.
I was wondering about Evans myself, actually.

Love that we put an end to running back by committee. Lindsay has had the touches he needs to build confidence and get hot.

The talk about the O-line having to become one organism. IMHO the O-line and the running back have to become one organism. When things are clicking for us that is what we have...one organism - like a giant forest of Aspens...or a lichen...or the great barrier reef...but not that slow.

I give Hagan an A+++++++ this year

Evans can't block or catch
basically keys the defense to a run every time.

But someone else should be getting carries

You just answered your own question.

I do not get it either. Adkins is clearly the most talented back on the roster.

I think we've seen mostly Lindsay because the OLine has really struggled the past 3 games and they need a reliable blocker to make up for it....and because Lindsay has been kicking butt as well. He's so much better than last year it's remarkable.

Lee just must not be that good. I think most people have almost forgotten he's part of the team... He hasn't recorded a stat since USC, where he caught 1 pass for -4 yards.

Here is Lindsay in a little-noticed moment: Check out how he flattens from behind a DL guy who looks to be about 7 inches taller and 90 pounds heavier on his way to the 30+ yard TD run near the end of the 4th Q. At about 1:34 of this video:

When asked about not subbing much, HCMM said something like 'there are 5,000 commercials when the game's on Fox and Phillip didn't get tired.'

I would like to see Donovan Lee more in the screen game or getting him some touches is open space. He has shown he is a difficult guy to take down.
