He'll be fine. Adjusting to new surroundings has become one of the Colorado junior forward's strong suits.
When the curtain opens on Colorado's season tonight against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Relphorde will officially be playing for his fifth coach — and fifth different system — in five years. That kind of yearly change either breaks a person or forces him to become a quick study.
Relphorde considers himself the latter.
"I'm used to it now, just coming into a new team, asserting myself with all of the new guys and learning a new coach's system," Relphordesaid. "I've been doing it for a while."
Still, CU coach Jeff Bzdelik acknowledges, "That's tough on a young man, to every year be constantly learning a new system where he has to learn where his shots are coming from and where he can get shots for his teammates."
