Remember when we had a football program that wasn't a national embarassment?

I do. The McCartney years when I used to go to bowl games and totally enjoyed watching a national championship game in Miami.

However, I do not think Embree is the answer. CU's football program can't recruit with losses like this.
 
I can't remember the last time I saw this team win in Folsom... I know we beat CSU in Mile High last year and Utah on the road but I can't remember that other win even though i was there.
 
I look fondly back on my time at CU between 2002 - 2006 and think of those as great years. Wish we could be average again
 
Hate to break it to you, but at this point I don't think the rest of the nation even knows we exist.

Sure they do, it was all over the national FOX game tonight. Colorado loses to some school that is in that crappy division that used to be called Division two.
 
Honestly? Nope. I don't vividly remember a single season where CU has been good. Hell, we haven't had a winning season since I was 13.
 
I do, but I am an old fart. CU has been a loser now since 2005. Thanks MB, killer of FB programs....and noted yes man , can't leave that out.

D1-AA, not D2. We have yet to lose to a D2 team...yet.
 
At this point, can we just ask for Barnett back? Then pull a Dallas storyline and pretend the last seven years haven't happened?
 
Dallas storyline. ha ha... sure you wouldn't rather have someone shoot someone instead?

I just hate seeing so many Pac coaches support Hawk and Embree. Now we know why.

Being an old fart, is why I can remember CU being quite good and very respectable. Hope someday those days return.
 
There's an old expression about nuclear fusion power: "Practical nuclear fusion power is 40 years away . . . and always will be."

I feel like football success at CU is now similar to a successful application of nuclear fusion power--it is 5 years away, and always will be
