Remodel / construction of Tailgate area by Libby & Baker Halls

Took some photos of the nearly completed construction / remodel at Baker & Libby Halls in the area that Sacky has previously held tailgates. I spoke with the project manager who told me they will be gone by 7/15/14 (3 weeks past the schedule completion date) with a public tour date to be announced soon on CU's website. Although you wouldn't know it by the photos below, they are in the cleanup phase. If need be, I'll go back again at the end of July and report back. Looking east down the sidewalk it would appear to have plenty of tailgate room between the constructed concrete wall and the wall next to Farrand. The black fence sits on top of a concrete wall that starts at the N/W corner of Farrand and is around 5 ft. tall. As the wall continues east it eventually ends up at ground level. Any Sackygate location in this area should be in good shape for the new FB season. PS, there will be no frickin bicycle racks to deal with!!!
