NOLA.com is reporting that LSU head coach Les Miles is not interested in the University of Colorado job. Whether or not he was ever seriously considering coming to Boulder could be up for debate but the fact that it has taken this long for him to come out and say he wasn't leaving probably means he was entertaining it.

"I'm not expecting to hear from any other school," Miles said. "I enjoy where I'm at. I have given reason to enjoy how my family is progressing, enjoy the team I'm fortunate to coach and the school I'm fortunate to represent. I very much enjoy where I'm at."
Tom Kensler of the Denver Post has also reported that University of Alabama offensive coordinator has already interviewed for the job.McElwain has been at Alabama since January 2008, and helped guided the Tide to the national championship a year ago. Before going to Alabama, McElwain was the offensive coordinator at Fresno State in 2007. He was quarterbacks coach for the Oakland Raiders in 2006.
McElwain was the assistant head coach, receivers coach and special teams coach at Michigan State from 2003-05. He also spent three seasons (2000-02) as an assistant at Louisville.
McElwain worked at Montana State (1995-99) as offensive coordinator, quarterbacks and receivers coach, and before that spent 10 seasons at Eastern Washington (1985-94).
I still believe this job will come down to Eric Bieniemy and Jon Embree. The best staff will probably be the difference.
