Richiter 4th strongest CFB player

lol

Of course, a big bench press doesn't a great offensive lineman make. But this knowledge makes me not want to say that to Richter's face.

Anyone have any info on how his transition is coming along? With Strength like that seems like we can jam the middle.

He looked decent in the spring game. I, however, don't think he'll ever seriously vie for much playing time over Cunningham, Bonsu, Perczak or Obi.

It wouldn't surprise me if Richter has some value in goal line & short yardage situations. But he doesn't run very well.

If he can add lower body strength and weight, he'd be a decent nose tackle. This, however, might take some time. If he isn't going to see the field much this season, then I hope the staff redshirts him so he's ready next year.

I feel like I remember the top bench #'s in the pro combine this year was upper 30's? Did anyone get up to the 40's? 41 reps at 225 is nuts! Hopefully he can translate this strength onto the field and make an impact this fall!

Stephen Paea from Oregon State set the combine record at 49 this year. Much of bench press numbers at that level is arm length.

Believe a DT (Paea?) from Oregon State set the all time combine record this year...something like 49 reps at 225 lb's.

Blaine Sumner from Mines did 52 reps at his pro-day. That dude is a beast.

Well yeah, but once you figure out all the physics and engineer the proper alignment for the arms, as well as the minimum required energy required to propel the weight to the required altitude, it's really pretty easy...

No girls at Mines either... the guys have plenty of time to build up arm strength which is necessary for lifting.

Beaver is another name for vagina.

im aware. I dont think tante was.

I don't even get why Richiter would want to try to break that record. 49 Beavers over 225 pounds? That's disgusting. I'd allow 1, maybe 2 as slumpbusters, tops...
