The day has finally come. The University of Colorado is the newest (along with the University of Utah) member of the Pac-12 conference. Ever since the drama of last summer, the will they, won't they back and forth that had Buffalo fans crossing their fingers and hoping that everything would work out for the best, we have waited for this day to arrive. The day where we can truly stop looking back and can finally start looking forward to an exciting new chapter in Colorado's history. Kick back and reflect on it all today. There's going to be lots of bumps in the road, but we know they'll get back to where they belong.

Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper has declared Friday, July 1, as PAC-12 DAY IN THE STATE OF COLORADO, and Boulder Mayor Susan Osborne the same as PAC-12 IN THE CITY OF BOULDER to commemorate CU's first day of membership in the Pac-12 Conference.
Other happenings:
CU/PAC-12 PRIZE PATROL: On Friday, there will be a "CU-Pac-12 Prize Patrol" that will be coordinating some special events and discounts in and around Boulder; fans can check their Facebook pages and Twitter accounts if they are CU subscribers for details at 9 a.m. Friday morning, or visit those sites for the information. Fans can visit CUBuffs.com anytime for detailed information on area discounts and specials, all of which are themed around the number 12.
FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS: Both the "Spirit Bell" in C4C (Center For Community) and the bell at Old Main are set to ring 12 times at Noon Friday to signify the Buffaloes entry into the Pac-12.
