1. This guy really seems to know what he is talking about with training the players and I cannot wait to see how it translates to the field.

2. There is a quote in there about why he left the NFL. How much does that say about our new Head Coach. Mike Bohn and this search committee may have just pulled out a miracle hire for this program

Pfft. This first three paragraphs of this article were lazily researched, and it shows. Here are my edits, keeping with the facts:

Former coach Dan Hawkins spent much of the first two years of his tenure telling anyone who would listen about the strength deficiencies in Boulder and how the old-school, knee and back-shattering philosophy of Jeff Pitman's poor lifting techniques would break the will of the players involved, set the program back 5 years and put them away with season and career threatening injuries early and often.

It's safe to say it worked out exactly as Hawkins and Pitman planned.

In all seriousness, I'm super excited to have Blacken and HC Emburrito on board.

That article was stupid. It made it seem like they weren't gonna powerclean and squat but they are? And the core comment... cleans are one of the best core exercises there is. And as i've said before they should be doing full cleans not power cleans anyway.

Blacken said former Cincinnati Bengals running back Rudy Johnson told him that during his college recruitment, he chose Auburn over Colorado because it was closer to home, but he always remained fond of the school and the area

I thought he chose Auburn because they paid well?
