RINGO: This team is best in CU history

Holy ****! I made Ringo's article!

Trust me on this, there are still some very hard feelings toward Baylor for those moves from CU school and athletic department staff and administrators, not to mention an internet poster who answers to "The Walrus" who carries his torch of hatred high, for all to witness. They would love nothing more than to see the Buffs knock off the third-seeded Bears and move on to the Sweet 16.

The season can't end this way. It CAN'T end with a loss to Baylor. That's not how this movie ends.
 
If this were true, it would be the second time you were featured in an article about CU fan's hatred of an opposing team.
 
You know what was so awesome about last nights game? We beat the #6 seed in the tourney only playing a good 3 quarters of the game. The sky is the limit if this team puts together a full 40 minutes of good basketball.

When we were launching our salvo on UNLV in the first 8mins of the 2nd half the announcers were saying we looked like a championship team. I have to wholeheartedly agree. When we are firing on all cylinders we cannot be beat. Our defense is too strong and our shooters can attack with the best of them when they have confidence.

We make half the turnovers last night and we win by 15.

Really good article by Ringo. I usually am not a big fan of his editorial-esque pieces. I did enjoy this one though. Nice job Ringo! Glad to see someone in the media, especially local media, supporting us.
 
why don you just neg rep him buffedup? or do you have to spread some rep around before giving him the neg rep?

I should neg rep you for apologizing. If the idots can't figure out that you added that part, then you deserve the rep.
 
Slight correction to the article ... Kyle actually wrote that this is the "best SEASON" in CU history (which is plausible given expectations, player losses, etc.) ... not the "best team" ... that nugget is the fault of the dumbass headline writer, who misquoted Kyle's statement. Last year's team was better IMO ... don't know if it was the best.

I was wondering that as well. I wonder if he regrets going to the league and not staying with his friends making a huge run. Then again, I'm sure he's not crying over spilt milk as he cashes those checks (and was a lotto pick; this year is stacked).
 
This isn't the best team in CU history. Ringo is a clown. And how is this season better than Billiups soph year which resulted in a 1st round win over Indiana?

Because it wasn't all that surprising that Chauncey's soph year team was that good, and this year was supposed to be a rebuilding year?


Not saying I necessarily agree ... just that it's a plausible argument (not "best team," but "best season.")
 
That team with Chauncey was just that - the team with Chauncey. There aren't any sure fire NBA superstars on this team. This isn't a one-man team. It's much more than that. What Tad has built is special.
