I have heard almost zero marketing for the game this season. Anyone have any idea how many tickets have been moved?
I kind of wonder if CU is avoiding marketing it much so that if the attendance blows, we can exercise our right to cancel.
Over on Lambnation they are hearing 12k of their half have sold. Believe that number includes students.
so lambs will start giving away tickets next week to get to 15k, turn 12k back to CU and the press will crush CU for only selling 40k

anyone have a need for 4 tickets? I buy season tixs but cant come.... I treat it as a direct donation to the football program. I am in section 505, row 23.
Boo hoo, poor babies.
All your problems are the Rams fault.
Got 99 problems, but the ewe ain't one.

Attendance is going to be awful this year. Could be the death knell for this series, at least in Denver.
For sure. They have pushed much harder for people to buy a 3-game Folsom package.
I'm interested to see. I just bought tix, the CU allotment in the club level is sold out, CU has taken a couple club sections from CSU to sell. I think the lower level on the CU side is about sold out as well.
I don't mind playing them every once in awhile but not every year. Even that is debatable I suppose. Oh don't recall who it was, but the playing them and Air Force idea, like rotating between the two, I kinda like that one. I don't remember exactly how it was put, interesting nonetheless.
I remember that being talked about on here. That's too bad, my dad is a Vietnam vet so I've heard plenty about how they got treated coming home. It would be cool to play them, get a little option work.AF's admin is apparently is not interested in playing us. During the Vietnam era and until the series ended our hippie leaning students did some very disrespectful things while visiting their stadium because of the war and the fallout from it. I was a serious clash of cultures as the story goes. I think AF gets decent respect among the working class students it shares in MWC. Time heals all wounds so maybe it will happen. CU not as hippie ROTC office burning as it once was.

UNM would be cool for me, easy road trip. Plenty of hotels, restaurants, etc.

The story of the big escape from the homicidal gangster via a shuttle, which turned out to be the round-robin parking shuttle, remains the funniest story I've read on Allbuffs.
And that's just one little part of the story. I say this every time the subject comes up, but I feel privileged to have played a small role in that whole drama. The site of Snow booking out of a house, bare feet, holding his shoes, jumping in the car and yelling "GO GO GO!!!" Is something I'll never forget.
