Man - when this team gets into form, cutting down on TO's and missed FTs..... watch out
I was at the Wofford game and the team shot their FT's just fine, almost 80% on 36 attempts. I'm thinking that their performance yesterday and today was partly due to a nearly empty gym and no background to shoot against. The other thing was when someone in the crowd yelled when someone was shooting, you could really hear it, it wasn't drowned out in a sea of noise. I think this will go away when they get back home.
:nod:Thems some pathetic excuses. They practice in an empty gym.
I had enough time to get this recap in to my 3pm newscast today. Thought you would enjoy...

Except it was a problem last year, and they've regressed even further. Some of them have terrible form. When you go 4/18 (22%) it isn't the type of thing you just hope goes away. You need to put some serious, serious work in to fix it.

After the Dayton game (or was it wofford?) they had billups on and he said that tad always says that working on free throws is the players' personal thing. maybe there should be a bit more encouragement on that end. anyway, a win is a win. Go Buffs!
WTF is that and whyTF does it want me to open filedropper.exe?
It's about a minute long recap/plug I put in the newscast today on KNUS, filedropper is the ftp host site. No biggie to open it or not, nothing earth shattering I figure you would enjoy some positive CU news coverage these days
I've been to Tad's practices. They shoot free throws. They do it competitively and they do it while the players are tired. But there is simply not enough time in a practice schedule to focus on free throw shooting enough to get real improvement. That is on the players and their willingness to put the time in away from the NCAA-allowed practice time.
