Rollcall: Football Kickoff Luncheon (8-19, noon)

I've been to so many of these things that I rarely go anymore. I occasionally have a client who buys a table and I'll show up then.

Honestly, it's pretty much the same dog and pony show every year. It would be nice if they would change it up a little. Why keep it at Balch? Why not have it in the new IPF?

This is why I don't go every year. Maybe make about 1 in 3.

I'm excited this year, though.

I'll almost definitely be making a return to the recruiting luncheon in February.
 
This event being on a friday afternoon in Boulder is really tough. If it was Saturday bet the turnout would be huge.
 
I found a way to schedule around it and will be there with an old college buddy. I haven't seen one since Embree's first year, so it should be fun.

Based on the clips I've seen and the reports from 'Nik, it sounds like pretty much every other kickoff luncheon going back 20+ years.

They need to shake that luncheon up a little. Move it to the IPF. Something new.

I also think the cliff diving / cannon ball contest would be worth watching. Early money is on Plati.
