Saban Reportedly Signs Extension With Bama

I'm guessing his agent used this opportunity to his advantage.

every dollar spent on keeping saban in Tuscaloosa is a dollar saved in money spent on riot police and damage clean-up costs.
 
Either way I was going to be able to say "SUCK IT ________!" to somebody. It may be Texas.
 
I hear ya but Texas fan has worked up a scenario where they think he is looking to get out of SF. not saying I buy it.
 
Reports are Saban for $7M a year, and the legislature has ceded all of the state south of Huntsville to the Gulf, with the exception of Tuscaloosa and Birmingham proper to Saban. Alabama Congressional delegation now putting the finishing touches on legislation for the ceded land to become the 51st state: Sabanland.

Tying himself to Kaepernick was not smart. The guy is not the answer as a long-term dynasty QB.

Not too much funny stuff, but a lot of threads of doom and gloom. The general belief seems to be that Mack actually was leaving, but was so angry that Chip leaked it, that he decided to stay out of spite. Everybody claims to be done with Texas football, and is now rooting for anybody who plays the Horns.

Oh, and Johnny Utah says:

Guy is coaching in at the very top level and has a team considered by many to be a legitimate contender for the super bowl after being there last year and being young enough to have a window that should extend for at least a couple more years.

Don't know what he is making in the NFL but he isn't hurting there either.
 
Harbaugh is a pro coach. Fits him better, just as Saban and Spurrier are college coaches. 7m a year from Bama, that is hilarious. I'd love to see the school justify that to the state. 7m for a college football coach. Crazy , just crazy.
