Sacramento State, Montana State - UMASS?

While not at home and on paper this is against a D1 opponent this game to me is as critical as especially Sac ST was for Embree in year 2. If we get out coached, get out-schemed, and over matched in the second half and lose this will tell us a ****-ton about where we are.










**** the fact I can post that tells us where we are.
 
Can we all agree that there is no excuse to lose this game whatsoever? Not youth, not the time zone, not a pumped up UMass team, not an injury, nothing.

None. No excuses. Win. Just like HaLk and Embree. And HCMM last year. No excuses.
 
Well, considering I'm going to this game and I've seen nothing but embarrassment on the road.. I'm just going to go ahead and apologize to everyone up front.

No need to apologize. I've never seen a road win and I'll be there.
 
CU needs to win the games they SHOULD win, and this one is no different.
If they lose to UMASS, I think the coaching staff should be on the short timer's list.

Why can't we get Darian Hagan to coach?
I don't know if he's a good one, but he would be fun to watch.

If they come out 1-1, going into the ASU game with momentum, things could get interesting.
I'm hoping for a BIG win in Foxborough.

Count me in as a member of this prestigious "never seen CU win on the road" club...Im nervous for Saturday... (and I also offer apologies in advance)...
 
There is a difference between wanting to win, and wanting to beat the other team. FB players want to beat the other team. CU needs FB players. Because last week showed this team will lay down if they get smacked in the mouth, no game is a gimme, even UMass.

This would not be as bad a loss as the other two since it is a D1 team (terrible but D1) and is on the road.

What it would mean though is that M2 doesn't have a handle on things and we are regressing again. Very bad news for M2 and the program.
 
I still have faith in MM and staff, and expect a win. If this isn't a win, then all momentum for MM is lost, and I agree that he is in big trouble. A P5 team should NEVER lose to what is effectively a really bad FCS team.
 
I have UMASS down as a tough game. CU should be able to win but it is a long road trip and CU cannot overlook anyone. CU had their hands full in Folsom last year with Central Arkansas through 3 quarters and into the 4th. I think the UMASS coaching staff is looking at this game as a way to change their fortunes. I do not look at this game as a gimme. Some real head winds for CU on this one.

Is Hagan still the Assistang RB coach?
 
It'll be utter meltdown here if we don't win. That said, if these guys aren't ready to play this week, they never will be. No excuses, just get the W.
 
The fact that we are still having to worry about a match up like this is just sad. If we get Toledo'ed again.. ^&%#
 
I sure hope not. Tini has some metric that ranks teams into the 100s for some reason and it says these guys are really bad. Must win. Must dominate.
