$50 each for mine, but that is a far less bitter pill than last year when they added the seat donation at $150 per. No biggie this year at all.
Interesting about the additional chairback seats they are adding. Hope we can fill those up too at the higher price point I'm sure they'll go for!
Mine went up $30 per, I think. Not a bad upgrade and definitely about time they started charging appropriately for the product. I do expect prices to slowly climb if we are able to maintain this kind of level of success.
I just wish football and basketball renewals were a little further spread apart - seems like we do both within a 2 month time frame.

Maybe the will switch out the seats in the student section with some bleachers. Never understood why the student section has seat backs. They don't use them and it limits the amount of people that can be crammed in there.

Edit: update - looks like they will give us an option to upgrade starting late june. Online like football was. No more 3 month process to finalize seating.

Looks like my current seats are getting chairbacks. I renewed but have no idea where I'll end up. I'm staying at the lower price level.
From the email:
they should have the renewals up for hoops right before the pac12 tourney and for football right before the Utah game - if we didnt suck at football it would increase rates.

Totally. Every time I try to calculate where my priority point rank would be if I donated an extra, say $500, it tells me I'd be in the top 250. :lol: That would be a REALLY significant jump from my current spot!

I have no idea where I'm at right now. Probably killing me that I had the lapse in football season tix last season. I better get a football parking pass with my 3 club seats considering what I do for basketball and the add-ons I have with soccer, WBB and volleyball season tix. ****ing wait list.
On my page they have a "rank as of Jan 31" but that is it - if I use the calculator it tells me that I am about 250 slots behind where I was Jan 31 - but if I donate $100 I'll be in the top-100.

Yeah. I dropped down to 3,411 (as of 1/31/14). But then I pulled up my rank on the calculator with all the stuff I've done since 1/31/14 and it looks like I'm up to 368. It also looks like once I renew my soccer, WBB and volleyball that I'll be up to 124.
We are basically the same rank as of 1/31/14. wowzers.
Yeah. It killed my rank that I didn't renew football last year since I was living out-of-state. I lost all the cumulative points from years as a season ticket holder and also didn't have the donation tied to the seats last season.
What's really sad is the rank I'll soon have. You'd think that getting into the Top 100 would require someone to be a scholarship donor or something. But I bet if I do my women's sports renewals and then send 500 bucks to Tad's basketball excellence fund that I'd be there.
Just doing the sports renewals plus the sustainable excellence fund for $150. hope to halve my ranking.
Yeah, that calculator is a puzzler. I jump something like 5600 slots if I donate $100. I will, if that moves me from 3 bench seats together up to 3 seatbacks together next season. But something tells me that's not happening.
My tix have roughly doubled in 4 years; I suppose that's the price of success.
I like the "Enter your desired rank" tool.

It looks like you get 5 points for every $100. That $50 doesn't do a thing for you, so make sure to get another 50 bucks in before the year ends.
Year ends either 6/30 or 7/31 I forget which.
The priority point ranking calculators do not work. Do your own calculations. My current rank is 299 of 8802 with 588 pts as of today. I was 388 of 8097 on Jan 31st with 523 pts.

I am in the same boat. The extra cost amounts to a 125% increase and an extra $500 for the exact same seats i had before. I called the ticket office and they didnt really have a lot of detail on where you will end up if you renew at the lower price level. I got the impression that we will be moved to parts unknown. Not feeling very confident in the process.
What formula are you using? I'd like to try and work mine out.
Any idea whether my seats got chairbacks too? I'm only two rows behind you. I'm not sure I want to spend the extra, but I really like our seats.
Don't have one yet. If I get enough data points I could work one out. Just need a bunch of pts/rank/total data sets. The two data points I gave were as of January 31st and the current as given on the buff club calculator. The what if scenarios don't work at all for figuring out where you will be, but I think it might be accurate enough for spots 50 and up to anchor the top side, the bottom end is what I need.
