It's an inside joke
Since I graduated this year I am not eligible for student season tickets. Anyone know how expensive the cheap seats are each game? Or, is it cheaper to buy season tickets? The only thing I can find on the website is $100 deposit is required for season tickets. I don't really care how bad the seats are because I will probably end up sitting in the student section.

Aren't there young alumni tics?

I think i get the cheapest tix available, and they are like $300 for 2 tickets to all the games including CSU at Mile High.

If you're in the cheap seats, then sit in 210. That is the official Allbuffs section for those of us who are poor. So me, and the winners of Sackman's weekly giveaway

Basketball might be getting more expensive soon but you can probably do tix for $100 or $120. Well worth the money.

My bad... all these forums look the same to me

That's racist!

Mine were $120 each last year I think. I'm in the corner.

EDIT - maybe it was $150. Now I can't remember.

My seats (center court, halfway up the aisle) are only about $250. Worth the extra cash, imho, but I'm crazy for this stuff.

This actually allows me to make a poll that I've been pondering lately.

VOTE!

Just got season tickets this year, in the past I just got cheap seats on stubhub or craigslist before the game. With the demand increasing, I thought it was a no brainer to get season tickets this year, as I've missed only 4 Buff basketball games in the last 3 years.

Wow. I can't touch that. I missed 4 games last year (2 due to snow storms tho).

Awesome. I really am looking forward to basketball more so than football this year. I couldn't even imagine not having season tix anymore.

Last year GA was $60 which should be fine for you if you are going to end up in the student section. Here is a link to the pricing from last year: http://www.cubuffs.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=600&ATCLID=69322

I'd anticipate a price increase this year. Even with one fewer home game this season (15), we're due for a bump.

Knocking on wood that you're wrong. :smile2:

I'm half court 13 rows up. It was around $250 last year, but do fully expect that to change.

I live in Louisville right on South Boulder road, so the games are really close. Unless I'm on a trip, I'm going. Seeing the program develop from cellar dweller to contendor has really made it impossible for me to skip any games.

Same here. I've almost always been a bigger football fan, but the
changes that have been made with the basketball program has caused me to care far more about basketball these days.

Fewer home games is a good opportunity to have that bump. People look more at the total cost of the package than the per game math.

Speaking of which, I haven't gotten a reminder to renew or anything yet. That happening?

I think I am going to try and move closer to the floor this year. I am 18 rows up right now.

I haven't either. If it wasn't CU's ticket office, I wouldn't be concerned. But it IS CU's ticket office. I'm guessing they're swamped with football right now and we'll probably hear something mid-September.

I think last year I didn't hear until October.

I remember it dragged on.

Maybe we should all go to the ticket office personally this year to try to get a block of seats instead of being separated around the section?
