Pretty deep, but 4th string is still 4th string.
Maybe it's just all the programs who have their nuts in a ringer right now but Im thankful he didnt consider Boulder. This kid, imho, makes red flags go up all over for me. Be nice to have his talent but one risky player, imo he is, isnt worth what Embo is trying to build.4th string is 4th string for the most coveted back out of his home state the year he signed. Not a good look. BU is the closest D-I to his hometown, I think he would be featured well there. Going to have to do more anecdote searching to decide whether he brings enough baggage to warrant me not wishing him to consider Boulder.
Hmm have to wonder if it was all about the depth chart.
You know, the have some quality avatars over there.
At first I thought it might be some obscure attempt at a cover-up. That just doesn't seem right. But what if the duckies decided there would be a few less calls from the ncaa, and fewer visits by investigators, since the kid would no longer be on campus. Why not turn him loose and let him land somewhere else? Take all that extra attention away. Hmmmmm.[/QUOTE]Code:
Bingo. This is a pretty obvious attempt by Oregon to do some damage control. He was a 5-star recruit, one of the highest rated RBs in the nation, and Whoregon paid 25G for his services, so clearly the dude can play. He didn't get buried on the depth chart until AFTER Lylesgate broke. They're clearly trying to divorce themselves from him and make him disappear. While this will save them from having to vacate any games that Seastrunk might have played in this year, I don't think it will fool the NCAA. There will still be hell to pay for paying for players, and LaMichael James' eligibility may very well be called into question as well.

No cover up. The kid wanted to go home. Grandmother is I'll. He was also passed on depth chart by deanthony Thomas and and a walk on. Making him 5th.
Sorry to see the kid go. Wish him the best. There was room to get sime snaps but had to go home.
Just 2/3.Does Lyles have to give back the $25K if Seastrunk transfers?
As the bevo board said, Baylor can offer him eternal life, so he has that going for him.
