Shedeur Sanders - 2023-25 Tracking History Thread

getting sentimental watching these interviews. I am going to really miss #2 / Sanders / Shedeur. Of all the QBs we have seen come through CU. This is the one I hate see moving on the most.
Every game i felt...every play I felt we had a shot with Shedeur at the helm.

He's going to the Giants now - there's no way they win either of their last two games.

Get ready for Travis to go to the Patriots though. They have the two spot right now with the Chargers and Bills to go.

Malik Nabers is pretty good himself

The Brady factor too. Seems like he'd do his best to create a good environment for a QB.

I just want Shedeur to be successful. If he can do that in New York, that would be awesome. For whatever reason, I'm a bit skeptical about the Giants. Although the Raiders have been a dumpster fire for quite some time.

I don't want him going to a **** franchise, but as Prime pointed out, when you're good, you end up going to a team that's not good.

I have seen mock drafts with Shedeur going anywhere from number 1 to 6, with Giants (#1), Tennessee (#4) and Raiders (#6) as the most common selections.

Of the mock drafts I’ve seen, QB #1 off the board has been 60/40 in favor of Ward.

Travis Hunter to Patriots at #2 is almost across the board on the mock drafts.

Picking Cam Ward would be peak post-Coughlin Giants.

I’d put a lot of money on Shedeur going before Ward.

Jaguars play the Titans next week. Raiders will move ahead of one assuming they lose

Not true. And the goal posts move again.

CU went from one win, to four wins to nine wins.

Pretty remarkable, regardless of the competition.

We will finish the season unranked.

We legitimately had the best player in the country on our team.

Overhyped? I’m not sure what point this person is trying to make.
Any time Prime Colorado loses, the demons rejoice. Fin.

Heard a dude on the radio that was saying that the Giants will either draft Cam Ward or trade out of the number one pick before they draft SS2 or Travis because they don't want anything to with Prime or the Sanders family.

I don't know if this guy knows anything about anything, but that does sound like something the Mara family would do.

I can believe this, BYU is a well coached team.

Wish that the Buffs had been able to be more diverse in their formations and play calling allowing them to dictate to the defense instead of it being the other way around.

No question that Shedeur has talent, he is big, strong, and mobile and his arm talent is elite. Also no question that he is very intelligent and has leadership skills.

That said if he is going to be successful in the NFL his learning curve is going to be steep.

This may be the best thing for Shedeur or Travis. The Giants are a trainwreck of an organization.

Travis should excel almost anywhere he goes but for a QB fit is important. The only negative about somebody trading for Shedeur is that the price of the trade is going to leave a team short on draft picks to use to build around him.

I think Shedeur will be ready to make a major impact day 1. I question his long term upside like I did with Matt Ryan. 2 is stubborn like Matty Ice was. I watched every game for both players since I am a falcons fan. Ryan didn't want to work on his body in a serious way till year 2 with Shanny and that was because he stunk at the WCO in year 1.

2 is going to have to learn playaction. Stop wanting to see everything and Peyton Manning the game. He's going to have a **** ton of success in the NFL. He's an elite pocket passer. Ryan was an elite game manager but Brady got better every year. Ryan just got more experience but he didn't really get better outside of year 2 with Shanny. Is he going to be Ryan 2.0 but as a pocket passer. I hope not. I believe he can become a multiply time champ and MVP but he has to get better at things he's not natural at.
