Now that I think about it, they could set aside one side of Franklin Field to put those things. I bet they could get 20 or so lined up along the East side of Franklin. Put in an artificial surface so cars can still drive on it in bad weather and pour a 10' wide concrete slab along the East edge of the field. Allow people to park their car in front of their rig. The cost goes way up, but that's OK. I'd be willing to be there would be at least 20 folks willing to pony up an extra couple grand per year for the priviledge of having their own, dedicated tailgate rig.
The Buff Club could partner with the outfit that makes these things to take care of all the arrangements. Everything from design to transport. Rent out the slabs on an annual basis. This would work here. Which means, of course, that it will never happen.
