So, what are the financial rewards for our post season appearances? I've heard in the past that the minor bowls sometimes garner a net loss. I'd expect that won't be the case this year.

Sorry DBT, but your cut of the bowl money won't cover your share of the $100,000 storming the field fine. I'm not sure how you'll claim this stuff on your taxes. Good luck.

100k. Wow. They announced several times to please wait one-****ing-minute. We were making our way down from our seats and students were storming before the play clock even ended. Lol. Gotta love our students.

I think Coach MacIntyre also earned a $100k bonus for winning the South. It was an expense night for RG. I guarantee he's thinking "worth it", but is annoyed as hell with the storming penalty.

In terms of DBT's question, I think Pac-12 is equal revenue sharing so we don't get anything extra. Actually think this year is going to ding the conference since we won't have enough bowl-eligible teams to fill our contracts. That would swing the other way if the conference got a team in the Playoff with that payout.

Storming was great, but they needed a way to countdown for the win. Teach the fans to countdown and make it a thing, although I hope expectations rise and we don't storm that often going forward.

They said to wait, but I think people wanted to be first to celebrate with the team.

RG came down the aisles of the student section to personally let everyone know to wait one minute. I think 95% of the students were on board. A few dumb ****s jumped the gun and everyone followed.

There's a small percentage of drunk, self-serving douche bags that attend the games now (I say now because they were probably at their frat houses getting wasted on piss water and whipped cream burnetts with no knowledge that CU was playing during the last 4 years). These are the ones that rush the field early and the ones that start stupid chants about little brother.

Can we just agree on one thing though?

That "golden minute" rule is stupid anyway.

I mean, I get the idea, get refs and opposing players etc off the field, but 60 seconds? Really? You're actually going to get everyone out of the way in 60 seconds?

It is stupid, but if if it saves CU some cash then I'm for it.

The fact that people will rush is accepted. They aren't saying not to rush.
