Slick Rick hired by Pac12 N to do Football games

Maybe the PAC network can get DII and I can start planning for the end of the world when they announce Slick and DII will be the broadcasters for a CU game.
 
i think hes good for tv... hes knowledgeable and a sleeze... a more palatable version of craig james

They can pay based on football knowledge ability to communicate effectively, Slick Rick $300,000 a year, D2 somewhere around minimum wage.

Not sure that Larry Scott wants to court controversy but who wouldnt watch Slick Rick's NCAA tourney preview and Pick'em?

this sounds like hes doing exactly what gary barnett did for fox sports... doesnt seem like he will be THE voice, just A voice

Honestly, he'll probably be good at tv. I just can't think of anyone in the west that Pac-12 fanbases dislike more. Not sure this is a good idea.

Hatred is an effective way to get attention and ratings. Does the Denver Post keep Kizla around because he is universaly loved? Why did ABC put and keep Howard Cossell on MNF. There are plenty of cases where unpopular people were used to gain viewers or readers. Some people will tune in just to be able to be mad at him.
