Well, for CU fans it is more accurate to say it was invented in the 1930s, went away during WWII, and made a few brief appearances in the following decades before Tad Boyle re-invented the sport in 2009.

i used to read hornfans very good in the late 90's/early 00's Big XII hoops board....about half the posters were from other conference schools....lots of traffic, good posters....then TJ Ford invented basketball and the board went UT circle jerk. no surprise from the horns, but it was good while it lasted.
