The Colorado Buffaloes, in addition to winning its first two games of the 2016 season, are

-outscoring opponents 100-14
-23 of 37 (62%) on third down
-scoring in the red zone 94% of the time (15 of 16 total red zone possessions)
-second in the Pac-12 in both total points scored and points allowed
-averaging nearly 588 yards of total offense per game

In addition, the Buffs have:

-given up the least amount of points in their first two games since 1978
-tied the school record with most points scored in the second quarter (35 against ISU)
-set a new record for biggest halftime lead. 49-0 yesterday vs ISU broke the 1995 Buffaloes' record. They went up 49-7 over NE Louisiana at halftime that year. (and won 66-14)
-gained 500+ yards in back-to-back games for the first time since 2002
-extended their nation-leading streak of 15 straight games forcing a turnover (thanks to cornerback Tony Julmisse's INT in the third quarter.)

The Buffs held the Bengals to under 100 yards of total offense, which had not been accomplished since the 1992 squad allowed just 16 total yards to Kansas State in a 54-7 rout.

When holding opponents under 100 rushing and passing yards, the Buffs are now 46-1 all-time.

Also, linebacker Drew Lewis led the defense with four tackles...if the box score stays the same and upon coaches review if he isn't credited with any other tackles, his four tackles will be the lowest amount that has ever led the Buffaloes in a game.

Junior WR Kabion Ento became the 14th CU player to score a TD on his first catch. You may remember another current Buffs player who did the same thing last year. Since 2010, Ento is the fourth Buffalo to accomplish this...can anyone name the other three?

I think Jeremy Bloom scored a TD on his first touch.

Our defense's turnover stat is really impressive. We've come a long way since Fresno.
