No one is getting fired here before the end of the year. Not Neinas. Not mm. No one.

Absent a scandal, this is our staff this season. So shut the **** up about it. You aren't helping.

Rg is a pro. If he needs to bring a new guy in, he's going to do it properly so as to give comfort to the new guy. Depending on what happens this year, a change maybe made but not until December.

Brace yourselves.

I agree. No changes until after the season unless MacIntyre pulls a Hawkins. Since his kid is a WR it is unlikely. George has the potential to turn this program around with the right hire in December.

If the team does not make significant progress and beat CSU, the dice have been cast and the the AD needs to start to prepare for December and a change. We lose to CSU and this season gets very ugly quickly. RG can let it play out for the rest of the season but he needs to be working the system setting it up for the next coach.

Per the Denver Post, new CSU coach Mike Bobo woke up at 3:15 AM on Saturday morning before his Savannah State game and was pacing the field at 7:30. Look in the dictionary under the word "prepared" and there's his picture. Please guys, do not hang your hats on the CSU game this year. Find some other benchmark, if you need to. CSU is quickly becoming a stepping stone for some very talented HCs. Bobo is likely to be light years better than Sparkles, and the CSU talent exceeds CU's.

Also lost to MTSU 61-7
64-0 to BYU
77-9 to Georgia State (2014)
66-3 to Troy
77-7 to Miami

The just keeps growing.

Thanks for missing my point, which was how seriously their coach took Savannah State, the crappiness of whom was obvious.

And how do you know MacIntyre wasn't doing the same thing? Just because there isn't a quote out there?

Despite you saying we missed the point, you still went and claimed that CSU is becoming a stepping stone for coaches and Bobo is light years better...all wth no evidence other than a win over a team that has gotten raped every time they've played any kind of D1 team.

You have to give credit where credit is due; Those guys up there in Ft. Fun have hired 2 coaches now from the big boy football SEC. Add in Basketball and it seems they take their sports more seriously than they used to.

In reviewing some history of our own our last two most successful coaches both were hired from the Big10. Since then all our coaches have come from the MWC except for the career position coach from the NFL. And that Neu guy came to us from the Pac10 though it was his first job under McCartney (This promotion marking the beginning of the who stepped in it period in CUs admin).

your main point was a good one. Your second one about "CSU is quickly becoming a stepping stone for some very talented HCs" given a sample size of 1, that the previous coach was fired for being terrible, and the one before that was"retired" is a little more tenuous.

We will have to see on Bobo, he is a difrent coach than Sparkles, he's considerably younger and has exclusively been under Richt's wing at Georgia. Sparkles spent a similar amount of time under saban but also had experience as an OC at fresno st, and with several other D1 schools.
