Sooners all over Colorado

Oklahoma got off to a slow start, but it had no intentions of cooling off Dan Hawkins' seat when it hosted Colorado on Saturday.

The Sooners outscored the Buffaloes 26-3 in the second quarter and lead 29-3 at the half.

Colorado did about everything poorly in the quarter, giving up an 81-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Broyles from Landry Jones and another for 16 yards. It also had a punt blocked for a safety and went three-and-out four times.

Don't look for a comeback in the Big 12's sleepy nightcap.
