First number is national ranking, number is parentheses is conference ranking. Had trouble finding a couple stats from last year, but I think you get the overall picture.
 
Basically our kick/punt coverage both really suck and our punt returns aren't good either. I'm ignoring the non-horrible stats.

So I found the missing numbers. Not much difference between the two seasons. Doubt we see Neinas fired, but he should be coaching for his job next season.

I can see MM doing the same as Urban Meyer and getting all of his assistants committed to staying two years which includes him retaining some we may be on the fence about. Have to stay true to what you're doing at least a second year and once you get that two year sample size (or one and change) that says things need to get tweaked then you can part ways with them. Hopefully Neinas is scouring Mexican Rivals for solutions at TE, OT, and DE to earn his keep.
 
Last night Spruce fair caught every punt, it didn't even look like he had a shot on any to even try for a return. As far a KR I wonder why Severson has been out there I think Tony Jones would be better back there at least he is somewhat elusive, wouldn't just hit the wedge and stop.

Ross and Goodson would be good options to
 
The punt return game in college football is almost gone. I think the ncaa needs to adopt the nfl rule and not let players release until the ball is punted. I'm not sure if richardson was back there that a lot would change.

Also I don't get why on kickoffs that they just down the ball when they field it in the endzone. I would rather take the ball at the 25 every time. Boring I know but look at how many times we start inside the 25.
 
What the hell happened with O'Neill this year? His punting looks awful to me. I think the rugby punt has diminished his skills.

Great question. He doesn't look like the same guy from last season.
