Spencer's future..

He is a total stud. He can take over a game when he wants to. Penetrate and score, penetrate and find an open shooter, pop the 3, also good on D… He gone.

Did anyone watch the post game video with George King? Some kind of funny interactions between the 2 of them, and George feeling happy with his free throws and Spence giving him sh*t. Also I just found Spencer's demeanor very engaging and he has a good basketball mind. His mannerisms and confidence in the presser reminded me of Kobe's media interviews.

Spencer is going to be a good one at the next level.

Mayor is awesome. Bright, funny engaging dude that knows basketball. He's become one of my all time fav Buffs.

My 12 year was telling me the other he's stressing out because he'd like to get a Dinwiddie jersey of what ever NBA team he ends up on, but explained "What if the Lakers take him? I can't imagine myself ever wearing a Lakers jersey?"

Perhaps one of my proudest moments as a parent.

That's funny, and so true. I honestly think Spencer will have one of the best NBA careers of any former Buff-maybe not the longevity of Billups but who knows.

That would actually be a great fit for Spencer. Lakers could look at him at #11.

He compares to Michael Carter Williams imo. Less assists and rebounds but more points.

And as much as he doesn't want to admit it, Kobe is closing in on the end fast. After all the years of wear and tear his body is breaking down. He can't do the things he used to be able to do almost effortlessly.

Spencer has the demeanor to deal with the expectations and attention that come with playing in LA. He also probably wouldn't mind the $$ that come with being a key player for the Lakers.

As another thought. As much as Tad recruits LA and the rest of S. Cal. having Spencer playing a prominent role on the Lakers would be a nice reminder for those kids that CU is a good place to try to take your game to a higher level.

Knowing how much he loves the Lakers, would be a great story. Lakers need a PG, but they pretty much need everything but SG, and that's probably only for 2-3 more years. Gasol likely leaves in the off-season, which leaves them with basically no front court. They owe three 1st rounders over the next 5 years or so, as well. Know they probably have one max contract available; just not sure they'll be able to field a very good team with a very aging Kobe taking up as much cap as he is.

Not sure if that's the best spot for him to get drafted.

You know he's gonna bring his A game against OK St. Smart and him are gonna be battling.

I wish the Mayor was coming back next season...that would be pretty shocking if that happened. If he goes to the Lakers, that would be really cool.

Dang that's some huge insight right there. We should move this to Barzil.

Judging by what he said about having a 2-1 record against CSU, it really sounds like he's gone after this season. CU appears to be in good shape to be able to replace him if he leaves a year early...that speaks big volumes about where this program is at right now compared to 2008 or 2009 when both MBB and WBB finished dead last in the Big 12.

Dinwiddie would be the big type of PG I think Brian Shaw would want in Denver

Nuggets need better 3 point shooters. As much as I love Spencer it would be hard to draft him based on the shooting the team needs. Love most other aspects of his game as they translate to the NBA though.

Gallo, Chandler and Hamilton give the Nuggets more than enough shooting at the 3. I just don't see Shaw's system working the way he envisions it with 2 under 6' guards. Plus, it would be really cool to have Dinwiddie keep hooping in Colorado
