Spendy but fun Football Signing Day Celebration in Denver on Feb 2...

Don't need the whole day off. Just a few hours in the middle of the day.

I've probably been to 6 or 7 of these things. They're fun, but they struggle with keeping it fresh. Not much difference between one year and the next.
This year should be particularly interesting, though. The level of recruits coming in has created a genuine buzz.

I had fun at the one I attended, but they're a bit too straightlaced for me. Would like to see the AD be a little more forward thinking in this types of events.

Heh.

They're straightlaced because they are geared towards the major donors, most of whom are well into their 50's and 60's. But I totally get what you're saying here.

I'm going to be in that demographic in a few years and I agree they are a bit too tight as well.

Damned old people are no fun.
