Chill BARTman! You have the patience of an 8 year old :wink2:. I don't think we will hear anything about (re)new(ed) targets outside of our commits until after the dead period. Right now it is all about compiling the staff and holding on to the recruits we can. Hell, our staff proably won't be finalized until the new year what with Baer coaching the bowl game.
 
He's already been in contact with at least some of the recruits, and likely more than we know. I don't understand why the hell he won't return my calls demanding to know exactly what he's doing, but he won't. I guess we should protest to Bohn, eh?
 
This is an important phase. You don't want to speed up the hires, get it right the first time and you won't have to be switching coaches in two years. You aren't likely to jump on a ton of recruits as a new coach anyway. You are likely going to be recruiting for next year. Getting the assisstants right will pay off in the long run.
 
If Lindgren (OC), Bernardi (OL), Jeffcoat (DL), Clark (DB), and Forman (S&C) are in, we need another 4-5 coaches. If they're quality, they'll negotiate. Could be a while.
 
this is the internet! i am entitled to instant gratification (i think it is a part of some federal spending program or something).

plus, it is going to be harder for him to land that top 15 class i am expecting the longer he waits. get on it, coach!!!!!!

Livers weekend has apparently started early.
 
C'mon Liver - dude has to buy a house, get kids registered for school, gps his trek to work,find his local grocery store, get a desk for his office, find his parking spot, go to the post office fill out change of address card, go to the DMV and register his cars,etc,etc... dude is busy - oh yea, go to office depot and order some chairs

And it's been almost 3 weeks since Embree was fired. You know the first thing he had to do was go get water!

Even if he hired the staff today they would not be able to recruit much, if at all untill after the dead period due to moving and living somewhere else in the country right now. My guess is he is more concentrating on talking to all the commits we have right now and the team especially kids thinking of leaving, and then he'll finalize the staff during the dead period.

What do you think a wife is for? And the dude ain't gettin a desk, what do you think this is? A BCS program? Next thing you'll think he needs some bottled water. There's a tap in the bathroom!
