StatSeed is StatSheet's postseason projections for all of Division I, including the NCAA Tournament, National Invitation Tournament (NIT), College Basketball Invitational (CBI), and the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT). Read more about how StatSeed is calculated.
StatSheet is projecting Colorado on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament with potentially a 13 seed. The Buffaloes are #67 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 14-6 overall record and a 6-2 record in the Pac 12.
During its last four games, Colorado was solid in wins against USC, Arizona, and Arizona State but also dropped one against RPI #80 Stanford.
Colorado has a 2-5 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes an 0-3 record against the RPI Top 50 and no record against AP ranked teams. While the Buffaloes have no quality wins, they're hampered by a bad loss to RPI #107 Maryland.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Texas (13-7, 3-4 Big 12, StatRank #63), Colorado (14-6, 6-2 Pac 12, StatRank #70), NC State (15-6, 4-2 ACC, StatRank #54), and Iowa State (14-6, 4-3 Big 12, StatRank #56).
The first four teams out are Cincinnati (15-6, 5-3 Big East, StatRank #75), New Mexico (16-4, 2-2 Mountain West, StatRank #48), St. Joseph's (PA) (13-8, 3-3 A-10, StatRank #50), and Stanford (15-5, 5-3 Pac 12, StatRank #74).
The next four out are Brigham Young (18-5, 6-2 West Coast, StatRank #44), Massachusetts (15-5, 4-2 A-10, StatRank #64), Miami (FL) (11-7, 2-3 ACC, StatRank #58), and Purdue (14-7, 4-4 Big Ten, StatRank #60).[TABLE="class: tablepad"]
