Steven Threet done at ASU due to concussions

The lawyers are gonna have a field day with colleges and the NFL some day.

I sure as shit hope so. Why the NCAA and NFL both do not require their players to wear mouth guards is so incredibly idiotic, that i honestly think the people running these associations are brain dead. I'm talking quality made custom fit mouth guards from dentists, not crappy boil and bites some of us received in high school.

Good luck to the young man. Osweiler is the future anyhow, all 6'8" of him, as OKCBuff can attest

That's the truth! Oz is tall and has a strong arm and, once he got used to starting, improved drastically. (Note: I'm the coach at ASU in our AllBuffs NCAA Dynasty League.)

But seriously... that IS scary. Threet had a rough college career. Got to Michigan just in time for that whole situation to change and then goes to the Valley only to struggle there, get injured and see his backup become the hero of campus with a win over Arizona. Tough stuff. On the football side, I think ASU will be in good shape with Oz, so in the long run it isn't a big hit for the Devils other than depth. But on the personal side, this is absolutely heartbreaking and I hate to see it happen to any kid who tries his hardest to be a warrior on the gridiron. Prayers and good luck to him and his future.
