Reading the Golden Bears blog, I like the comment that Cal should not be playing D1-AA teams like UC Davis, and would be better served playing a low quality BCS team like Maryland or Colorado. Ouch.

Fortunately, we have the opportunity to change their minds on Saturday.

Really, with our record the past four years, we should not be surprised, or even upset, at comments like these. The only way to regain the respect the program once had is to win, win, and then win some more. Otherwise, we truly will be a BCS also-ran.
