UConn was down 5 at the 6-minute mark but they closed the half on a 19-5 run to lead by 9 at the break. Walker has 14 points.

BYU and Florida tied at the half.

Butler-Wisconsin
 
Normally I'd root against Fisher (cheat). But what's a boy to do when his team is matched up with Calhoun's?
 
SDSU is keeping themselves in this game with all the offensive rebounds they're getting. Leonard has 4 fouls and went to the bench but he's back out there now.
 
I don't strong negative feelings toward Fisher, but all through the tournament they've been talking like Bill Freider is just a normal ex-coach who apparently accomplished something (other than cheating or being average at ASU), all is forgiven in today's pro-everything, boosterish sports "journalism"/media. not a hint of criticism of any kind, whatsoever. Big Rock Candy Mountain and relentless hyperbole on sports TV these days.
 
I decided to root for UConn after all. SDSU's too much of a recruiting threat for us. They need to go down.
 
Jimmer sucks. his whole team was counting on him in this over time and he didnt score. he will never score a point in the nba
 
I've got no reason to root against Jimmer, but the media has made me hate him a little bit. Full-blown "Tebow Effect" going on for me with this one.
 
Go Cats!! Would love the honor of beating an Elite 8 team twice next year!! They are putting on a clinic on what good rebounding can do for a team
 
In the other game, they're over a minute into the 2nd half and Wisconsin is still searching for its 25th point. Go Butler!

U of A has great fans. And Tucson is a great place. So agree...go Cats.

I went to the Wisconsin games last week in Tucson...I thought that they would win this game. Although, I love Butler and their head coach.
