Tad Boyle one of the best in-game coaches (via KenPom)?

Couldn't find a thread on this so forgive me if it's been posted.

KP ran a model studying the last 5 seasons and which teams won more than they were expected to win by the start of 2nd half, 5 minutes left, and 1 minute left.
Colorado and New Mexico were the only teams to be ranked in the top 10 by all three measurements. CU is 2nd in wins gained with 5 minutes left, 7th with 1 minute left, and 8th in wins gained over expectation from the start of halftime.

There's some obvious flaws that KP highlights and Tad wasn't here the 1st of the 5 years, but it is still pretty remarkable.

Once again... Tad is smarter than we are.

The record is always better than the metrics suggest it should be.

Maybe the criticisms of Tad as an "in-game coach who is no better than average at x's & o's, adjustments, and situational game management" will quiet down now. This is a special coach we have in Boulder.

Well, until we're up by 3 in the final seconds
