Tad has to go

I agree. Just as with Mac, Tad has hit the proverbial ceiling. It's time for a change and I'd put money on RG thinking the same thing.

Not good enough, time for a change. They should be 10-0, can't lose games like that. Tad is similar to Mac, just can't recruit the guys needed or inspire them enough to take the next step. Mediocrity is not acceptable.

True statement. Also true that we have one round of 32 appearance. Is NIT/CBI/1 and done in the NCAA good enough? I don't think so. I want this program to take the next step. That said, if I'm RG I would not fire Boyle unless I am 100% sure I have my guy lined up who I firmly believe will be an upgrade. Probably tough to come up with the money for a guy like that when we're still on the hook for MM's contract. :(
 
What is ridiculous? Patton got us to the second round at least. I’m not expecting winning the PAC 12 every year but I do expect beating Indiana State on a neutral floor and qualifying for the tourney

Improvement? Please show me the improvement from Tad's record since 2011. They should be 10-0, they gave away those two games. And once they get in the Pac, they're gonna get torn up. He's had plenty of time to increase recruiting and wins, it's not happened.

That's not improvement, that's ceiling at best.

Did you listen to that postgame interview? Tad didnt give excuses. He took responsibility for the loss. That is the opposite of FHCMM.

I don't care about taking responsibility, I care about this happening over and over again. These kinds of losses have happened far too many times with Tad, it's not a rarity.
 
This isn’t football. Basketball season does not end with one bad loss, although some around here think it does. Today’s loss is not acceptable. It is not a reason to blow things up.

Agreed. Tad has proven resilient over the years and has bounced back from losses like this.

How this team responds against either Hawaii or UNLV will tell us a ton about the maturity and toughness of this year's team.

Looks like it will be Hawaii. Would that count as a road game instead of a neutral?

Where's the improvement? That screams ceiling to me. I've supported Tad as much as I have Mac over the years but ceiling is not acceptable to me. Mediocrity is not acceptable to me. I don't think it's acceptable to RG either. It's time to make a change. It's time for "no excuses" such as the one Tad gave after this game.
